What we collect
When you create a profile on Vinayak Jobs, we collect the information you provide directly — name, email, phone, current city, work history, education, skills, salary expectations and resume. When you apply to a role, the relevant information from your profile is shared with the hiring company.
How we use your data
- To match you with relevant job openings and surface you to recruiters.
- To allow you to track your applications across structured interview stages.
- To send you updates about your applications, interview invitations and offers.
- To improve the platform — anonymised analytics on usage and conversion.
Who can see your data
By default, your contact details (phone, email) are not visible to client companies until you explicitly apply to a role or your assigned consultant chooses to share. Resumes shared with clients are watermarked and tied to a unique document ID for traceability.
Your rights
- Access: request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Correction: update or correct any information at any time from your profile.
- Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: request a structured export in JSON / CSV.
Security
All data is stored encrypted at rest. Communication is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access is governed by role-based authorisation with a full audit trail of every change.
