Job Overview
Position Title: Store Incharge / Store Manager
Reports To: Head of Department / Operations Manager / General Manager
Job Objective: To maintain optimal inventory levels, supervise store/warehouse staff, manage inward and outward movement of goods, and ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Inventory & Stock Management
Monitor stock levels, track fast-moving and slow-moving items, and initiate timely reorders or stock replenishments.
Conduct regular physical stock counts, audits, and reconcile records with ERP systems or registers.
Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, quality, and quantity discrepancies.
Required skills
Verify incoming deliveries against Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery challans, and update Goods Receipt Notes (GRN). Issue materials or stock against approved indents and record recipient details accurately Staff Supervision & Operations Supervise, schedule, and guide store helpers, packers, or retail assistants. Maintain store organization, cleanliness, proper labeling, and systematic placement (e.g., FIFO/LIFO methods). Documentation & Reporting Maintain inward/outward registers, stock ledgers, and inventory software/ERP entries. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock, consumption, and discrepancy reports for management.
