STORE KEEPER /HELPER FOR STEEL PIPES MANUFACTURING

The Store Keeper is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and storeroom operations, including inventory control, receiving shipments, maintaining accurate stock records, and issuing materials. The Store Helper supports the Store Keeper with physical labor, loading/unloading goods, sorting materials, and keeping the storage facility clean and organized. Key Responsibilities Store Keeper Duties • Receive & Inspect: Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders (POs), invoices, and packing slips; report and document damaged or missing items. • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate digital or manual stock ledgers, bin cards, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs). • Stock Issuance: Distribute materials, tools, and supplies to internal departments or staff based on approved requisitions. • Audits & Reconciliations: Conduct regular daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic physical stock counts to match system records. • Reordering & Safety: Monitor stock levels, flag low-stock items for reordering, and ensure hazardous or sensitive goods are stored safely (e.g., FIFO - First In, First Out). Store Helper Duties • Loading & Unloading: Assist with manually or mechanically loading/unloading incoming and outgoing shipments. • Material Handling: Unpack, label, sort, and arrange goods neatly into designated shelves, racks, or floor areas. • Order Preparation: Help pick, pack, and stage requested materials for dispatch or department pickup. • Housekeeping & Maintenance: Sweep, clean, and organize the storeroom, keeping walkways clear and free of debris
