ob Title: Electrician Department: Electrical Maintenance Industry: Fabrication / Steel / Manufacturing Plant Location: Urla, Raipur, Chhattisgarh Job Responsibilities: Perform routine electrical maintenance, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery. Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, control panels, MCCs, starters, contactors, relays, VFDs, and DBs. Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical wiring, cables, switches, and lighting systems. Carry out motor installation, cable laying, glanding, termination, and testing. Check voltage, current, insulation resistance, and electrical connections. Maintain proper earthing and electrical protection systems. Attend emergency breakdowns and restore equipment safely and quickly. Assist in maintenance of electrical systems for welding machines, cranes, compressors, pumps, cutting machines, and other fabrication equipment. Maintain electrical tools, spare parts, and maintenance records. Coordinate with mechanical and production teams during equipment breakdowns. Follow LOTO, Permit-to-Work, PPE, and all plant electrical safety procedures. Maintain good housekeeping around electrical panels and work areas. Qualification: ITI – Electrician preferred. Diploma in Electrical Engineering is an added advantage. Experience: 2–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a fabrication, steel, heavy engineering, or manufacturing plant.
