ob Title: Accounts Head Department: Finance & Accounts Industry: Fabrication / Steel / Manufacturing Plant Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh Job Responsibilities: Manage the complete Finance & Accounts function of the organization. Supervise day-to-day accounting, billing, receipts, payments, and financial transactions. Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely accounting entries. Prepare and review Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports. Manage GST, TDS, TCS, income tax, and other statutory compliances in coordination with consultants. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor/customer reconciliation. Monitor cash flow, working capital, outstanding receivables, and payment schedules. Review purchase invoices, sales invoices, expense bills, and supporting documents. Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and statutory authorities. Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing. Monitor project/job-wise costing and profitability, particularly for fabrication and manufacturing activities. Establish and monitor internal financial controls and accounting procedures. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports for senior management. Verify payroll-related accounting, employee advances, and statutory deductions. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting policies. Lead and guide the accounts team and allocate work effectively. Identify financial risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost control. Support management in financial planning and business decision-making. Qualification: CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation. Experience: 8–15 years of experience in accounts and finance, preferably in steel, fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy engineering. Experience in handling a complete accounts function and managing a team is preferred.
