About this role
A Distributed Control System (DCS) Engineer designs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots industrial control systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Configuration: Program and configure DCS hardware, software, graphic displays, alarms, and safety interlocks.Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform daily backups, diagnose system faults, and resolve software or hardware failures with minimal downtime.Testing & Commissioning: Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), loop testing, and plant startup support.Documentation & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date system backups, version control, P&ID reviews, and compliance with industrial safety standards.Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with instrumentation, electrical, and maintenance teams during plant shutdowns or system upgrades.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience working with industrial automation and major DCS platforms (such as Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, or ABB).
Required skills
