TECHNICIAN/SR. TECHNICIAN POWER PLANT

Power Plant Technicians/Sr. Technicians perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of mechanical, electrical, or I&C equipment (boilers, turbines, pumps, generators, PLC systems) to ensure safe, efficient operation. Senior technicians lead repairs, diagnose complex failures, manage safety protocols, and oversee juniors/contractors. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair: Execute routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of rotating equipment (pumps, turbines) and static equipment (valves, piping). Operational Support: Monitor equipment, detect anomalies, make adjustments, and support start-up/shutdown procedures. Electrical/I&C Specifics: Install and maintain high/low voltage systems, transformers, circuit breakers, and control systems (PLCs, instrumentation). Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to permit-to-work (PTW) systems, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and safety regulations. Documentation & Reporting: Document maintenance activities in CMMS and report operational issues. Leadership (Senior Only): Coach junior technicians, coordinate with operators, and plan maintenance schedules.
