About this role
An Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer designs, installs, and maintains the electrical power systems and automated control instruments used in industrial plants.
Key Responsibilities
System Design: Create blueprints and specifications for electrical wiring, control panels, sensors, and actuators.
Programming & Control: Configure and troubleshoot control software like , Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and SCADA interfaces.
Calibration & Testing: Test instruments regularly to ensure accurate readings for pressure, temperature, level, and flow.
Maintenance: Repair electrical faults and resolve instrumentation breakdowns to reduce factory downtime.
Safety Compliance: Follow industry rules and standards—such as ISA, IEC, or NEC—to operate safe electrical and pressure systems
Required skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of power distribution, circuit diagrams, and computer-aided design (CAD) software. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose complex hardware and software issues under pressure. Teamwork: Skills to work with mechanical, chemical, and process engineering teams
