About this role
A Shift Incharge Technician supervises plant operations, monitors machinery performance, and manages shift personnel during assigned working hours.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Oversight: Manage daily shift activities to meet production schedules and quality targets.Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose equipment faults quickly and support breakdown or preventive maintenance.Team Leadership: Direct technicians and operators while enforcing workplace safety rules.Reporting: Maintain accurate shift logs and report major issues to senior management
Required skills
Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.Experience: Several years of hands-on industrial, power plant, or manufacturing background.Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, knowledge of safety protocols, and equipment diagnostics
