CNC Operator - Workshop (CNC Machine)

Operate CNC machines such as CNC Lathe, VMC, HMC as per production requirements. Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications. Load and unload raw material/components properly. Set cutting tools, inserts, fixtures and workholding devices. Check machine settings, tool offsets and basic program parameters. Monitor machining operations and maintain required production output. Measure finished components using vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge and other measuring instruments. Maintain required dimensions, tolerances and surface finish. Perform basic tool changes and offset corrections. Identify machining defects, tool wear and machine abnormalities. Maintain production and inspection records. Keep the CNC machine and work area clean. Follow SOP, quality standards and workshop safety procedures. Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
