About this role
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment, machinery, and plant systems.
Handle motors, MCC, PCC, control panels, transformers, cables, and electrical systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Identify electrical faults and minimize machine downtime.
Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams.
Supervise electricians and electrical technicians.
Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, and basic automation systems.
Maintain electrical maintenance records and daily reports.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and industrial safety procedures.
Monitor electrical spares and maintenance requirements.
Required skills
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of motors, starters, MCC/PCC panels, VFD and PLC. Basic knowledge of electrical drawings and control circuits. Knowledge of preventive maintenance. Ability to handle electrical breakdowns independently. Good communication and team-management skills. Knowledge of industrial electrical safety. Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
