About this role
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections of plant, machinery, and work areas.
Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs for employees.
Monitor the proper use of PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, gloves, goggles, and safety harnesses.
Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, and incident reports.
Investigate workplace accidents and near-miss incidents.
Ensure compliance with work permits, LOTO, hot work, and height-work safety procedures.
Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to maintain safe working conditions.
Conduct emergency drills and support fire and emergency preparedness.
Required skills
Good knowledge of industrial safety practices and procedures. Strong knowledge of PPE and hazard identification. Knowledge of LOTO, Work Permit, Hot Work, Height Work, and Confined Space Safety. Good knowledge of fire safety and emergency response. Accident/incident investigation skills. Good communication and training skills. Strong observation and risk-assessment skills. Ability to conduct toolbox talks and safety inspections. Basic computer and MS Office knowledge. Ability to coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams.
