About this role
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Gate Operator – Dispatch to manage the movement of vehicles and materials through the company gate. The role involves verifying dispatch documents, coordinating with the dispatch, security, warehouse, and transport teams, and ensuring that vehicles are allowed to enter or exit only after proper verification.
Required skills
Good knowledge of dispatch and gate operations. Basic knowledge of invoices, delivery challans, gate passes, and dispatch documentation. Good communication and coordination skills. Basic MS Excel and computer knowledge. Good record-keeping and data-entry skills. Attention to detail and ability to identify document/material discrepancies. Ability to coordinate with drivers, transporters, security, warehouse, and internal teams.
Good to have
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, steel, or industrial dispatch operations. Knowledge of ERP/SAP/Tally is an advantage. Experience handling vehicle entry/exit and dispatch documentation. Basic knowledge of e-way bills and GST-related dispatch documents. Experience working in shifts will be preferred.
