A hands-on technical training position designed for fresh engineering graduates or diploma holders to build core competencies in mechanical manufacturing, plant operations, quality control, or maintenance engineering through structured mentorship and project rotations.
Required skills
Engineering Design & Modeling: Fundamental proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo) for reading, interpreting, and modifying mechanical drawings and blueprints. Metrology & Quality Control: Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments including Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and height gauges to check dimensional tolerances. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, and conveyors, along with basic root-cause analysis (RCA) techniques.

Advanced Design & Analysis: Hands-on project or internship experience with advanced FEA/CFD software (ANSYS, Abaqus, or SolidWorks Simulation) for structural and thermal optimization. Programming & Automation: Basic working knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or PLC programming (Siemens/Allen-Bradley) for automated manufacturing and mechatronics applications. Advanced Manufacturing: Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT-enabled machinery, additive manufacturing (3D printing), and industrial robotics.
