About this role
Responsible for supervising and controlling the quality, quantity, loading, sampling, and dispatch of DRI (Direct Reduced Iron). The position ensures that the correct material is loaded as per customer specifications and dispatch instructions, while maintaining proper quality records, preventing material mix-up, and coordinating with Production, Quality Control, Weighbridge, Logistics, and Transport teams.
Required skills
Accuracy of DRI quality and quantity verification. Zero material mix-up or unauthorized loading. Accuracy of sampling and quality documentation. Timely and correct dispatch of approved material. Reduction of loading/dispatch errors. Proper vehicle and weighment verification. Compliance with safety and QC procedures. Accurate maintenance of quality and dispatch records
Good to have
Good knowledge of DRI/Sponge Iron quality and loading operations. Understanding of DRI quality parameters and basic testing procedures. Strong knowledge of quality inspection, sampling, and material traceability. Ability to identify material mix-up, contamination, and quality deviations. Good knowledge of weighbridge and dispatch documentation. Strong supervision and team-coordination skills. Good observation and problem-solving ability. Basic computer skills, particularly Excel and reporting. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work in shifts and under production/dispatch pressure. Strong focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and discipline.
