About this role
The Transit Mixer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of transit mixer vehicles used for transporting and delivering ready-mix concrete to construction, repair, and maintenance locations within the plant.
Required skills
Experience in industrial plants, construction projects, DRI, steel, cement, infrastructure, or heavy engineering preferred. Good knowledge of transit mixer operation and concrete transportation. Basic knowledge of diesel engine, hydraulic system, transmission, brakes, steering, and electrical systems. Ability to operate mixer drum and discharge chute safely. Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance. Ability to identify and report vehicle defects promptly. Good understanding of plant traffic and vehicle safety procedures. Physically fit and able to work in hot, dusty, noisy, and outdoor environments. Willingness to work in rotational and night shifts when required.

Good communication and teamwork. Strong safety awareness and disciplined working habits. Ability to work under time-sensitive concrete delivery requirements.
