The Despatch Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the complete dispatch and logistics operations of the plant. The role includes planning daily dispatches, coordinating with production, sales, stores and transporters, ensuring timely loading and delivery of materials, maintaining dispatch documentation, and controlling dispatch-related costs.
Required skills
Strong knowledge of dispatch and logistics operations. Good knowledge of transportation and vehicle management. Strong coordination and communication skills. Knowledge of ERP/SAP and MS Excel. Good documentation and record-maintenance skills. Ability to handle multiple dispatches and urgent requirements. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Team handling and leadership skills. Knowledge of e-way bill, invoice and dispatch documentation. Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch targets.
