About this role
We are looking for an experienced Manager – DRI/SID (Mechanical) to manage mechanical maintenance and operational support activities in a DRI/SID plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing breakdowns, planning preventive maintenance, and leading the mechanical maintenance team.

Strong knowledge of DRI/Sponge Iron Plant Mechanical Maintenance Expertise in Rotary Kiln & Cooler maintenance Knowledge of Gearboxes, Bearings, Couplings & Lubrication Systems Experience in Conveyors, Crushers, Screens & Feeders Strong Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance skills Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting Shutdown planning & maintenance execution Knowledge of Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems Equipment inspection and condition monitoring Manpower handling & team leadership Spare parts planning & inventory coordination
Good to have
Strong experience in DRI/SID plant mechanical maintenance. Good knowledge of rotary kiln and cooler maintenance. Experience with gearboxes, bearings, couplings, hydraulic systems and lubrication systems. Knowledge of conveyors, crushers, screens, feeders and material-handling systems. Experience in breakdown analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Strong knowledge of preventive & predictive maintenance. Shutdown planning and execution experience. Good team leadership and manpower management skills. Knowledge of maintenance planning and spares management. Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
