QUALITY SUPERVISOR

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for supervising quality inspection and control activities to ensure that raw materials, in-process production, and finished products meet defined quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily quality inspection and testing activities on the production floor. Inspect incoming raw materials and verify them against specifications and quality standards. Monitor in-process production quality at different stages of manufacturing. Inspect finished products and ensure compliance with required specifications. Maintain quality parameters, inspection reports, check sheets, and test records. Identify product defects, process deviations, and quality issues. Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve quality problems. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring defects and implement corrective actions. Ensure proper sampling, testing, measurement, and inspection procedures are followed. Monitor dimensional, visual, chemical, mechanical, and other applicable quality parameters. Ensure measuring and testing instruments are properly maintained and calibrated. Handle customer complaints and support corrective/preventive action activities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and production-quality data. Implement and maintain SOPs, inspection procedures, quality checklists, and work instructions. Ensure non-conforming materials/products are properly identified, segregated, and controlled. Conduct quality awareness and training for operators and workers. Support internal, customer, and certification audits. Maintain compliance with company quality systems, ISO procedures, and safety requirements. Monitor rejection, rework, defect, and process-loss trends and suggest improvements. Maintain discipline and effective coordination within the quality inspection team.
