About this role
Manage and supervise day-to-day plant operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.
Plan production activities and ensure achievement of production targets.
Monitor manpower, machinery, raw materials, and operational resources.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, HR, and Safety departments.
Monitor plant performance, productivity, downtime, and operational efficiency.
Identify operational problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies.
Control operational costs and optimize utilization of manpower and resources.
Lead shift teams, supervisors, and operators.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for senior management.
Handle breakdowns, production interruptions, and emergency operational situations in coordination with the concerned departments.
Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
