About this role
Responsible for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization of the DCS (Distributed Control System) used in an AFBC (Atmospheric Fluidized Bed Combustion) Boiler/Power Plant. The engineer will ensure reliable plant control, instrumentation performance and smooth boiler operation.
Required skills
Operate and maintain AFBC Boiler DCS control systems. Monitor boiler parameters such as steam pressure, temperature, drum level, furnace pressure and airflow. Troubleshoot DCS hardware, software, I/O modules, communication and control loops. Handle PLC/DCS-based automation and control systems. Monitor and maintain pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments. Perform calibration and loop checking of field instruments.
