About this role
The Motor Winding Mechanic will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and rewinding of various heavy-duty electrical motors, transformers, and industrial equipment used in sponge iron manufacturing. The goal is to ensure minimum downtime and smooth, continuous plant operations.
Required skills
Technical Knowledge: Expertise in wire gauge calculation, winding data, and connection diagrams (star/delta). Strong working knowledge of multimeters, megzers, and workshop machinery (coil winding machines, baking ovens). Physical Fitness: Ability to work on shop floors and handle heavy motor parts safely.
