About this role
To lead the electrical engineering team and oversee the unhindered power distribution, maintenance, and automation of all plant machinery (such as induction furnaces, rolling mills, transformers, switchyards, and motors), ensuring maximum equipment uptime, energy efficiency, and total electrical safety.
Required skills
Power Systems & Distribution: Deep knowledge of High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) power distribution networks, switchyards, power transformers, HT/LT panels, circuit breakers (VCB/ACB), and protection relays. Heavy Industrial Drives & Machinery: Hands-on expertise in maintaining high-capacity industrial motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), soft starters, and specialized furnace transformers used in steel manufacturing (Induction Furnaces, Rolling Mills, etc.). Automation & Control Systems: Strong proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), SCADA systems, HMI panels, and instrumentation loops. Blueprint & Schematic Reading: Ability to design, review, and troubleshoot complex Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD), control circuit schematics, and wiring layouts.
