About this role
Maintenance Support: Assist senior staff in performing preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs on transformers, switchgears, and MCC panels. [1]
Equipment Troubleshooting: Help diagnose electrical faults in heavy-duty machinery, including EOT (Overhead) cranes, motors, and induction/arc furnaces. [1, 2]
Installation Work: Assist with laying conduits, pulling low-voltage wiring, and assembling electrical components like circuit breakers and control panels. [1]
Safety Compliance: Follow strict electrical safety codes, adhere to work permit systems, and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). [1, 2]
Documentation & Coordination: Maintain logbooks for daily maintenance activities, record spare parts usage, and report equipment abnormalities to the supervisor. [1, 2]

Required skills
Industrial Wiring & Panel Maintenance: Ability to assemble, wire, inspect, and maintain Low Tension (LT) control panels, relay logic circuits, and starter panels. Motor & Drive Maintenance: Hands-on experience in testing, rewinding support, alignment, and preventive maintenance of 3-phase induction motors, blowers, and pumps. Switchgear & Power Distribution: Basic understanding of circuit breakers (ACB/VCB), contactors, fuses, busbars, and power distribution networks. Reading Technical Schematics: Competence in reading electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), control circuit layouts, and wiring blueprints.
