Advanced Breakdown & Fault Diagnostics: Quickly diagnose and rectify complex electrical failures in heavy-duty EOT cranes (50T to 150T+ capacity), including hoist mechanisms, long-travel (LT), and cross-travel (CT) drive synchronization issues. Drives & Control Panel Management: Expert handling, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), Thyristor panels, Master Controllers (MCs), and PLC-integrated crane control logic. Motors & Braking Systems: Maintain and service heavy industrial HT/LT motors, slip-ring motors, and electro-hydraulic thruster brakes under rigorous shop-floor conditions. Safety Systems & Interlocks: Regularly inspect, calibrate, and test critical crane safety interlocks, including over-hoist limit switches, anti-collision devices, load-cell overload protection systems, and emergency braking loops. Preventive Maintenance & Overhauls: Execute rigorous preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and lead electrical overhaul tasks during scheduled major plant shutdowns. Team Leadership & Compliance: Guide junior technicians, maintain statutory electrical logs, and strictly enforce LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and plant safety compliance.
