About this role
Monitor and maintain CCS equipment and control systems.
Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and control-related faults.
Ensure smooth operation of control panels, sensors, transmitters and associated equipment.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of control systems.
Monitor system performance and identify abnormalities.
Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports and equipment history.
Assist in system testing, calibration and commissioning activities.
Follow plant safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate with vendors and service engineers for repairs and technical support.
Required skills
Equipment Handling: Hands-on experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting High/Low Tension (HT/LT) Switchgears, Industrial Transformers, Heavy Motors, and Control Panels. Plant Infrastructure: Familiarity with power distribution systems, captive power plants, or sub-stations typical of steel and ferroalloy manufacturing units. Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to industrial electrical safety protocols, use of PPE, and handling lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
