About this role
Supervise Personnel: Lead, schedule, and evaluate mechanical, electrical, and operations teams.
Maintenance Planning: Coordinate preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on boilers, turbines, and generators.
Safety Compliance: Enforce Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
System Monitoring: Oversee control room operations and respond to system alarms or equipment failures.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical malfunctions to minimize plant downtime.
Contractor Management: Supervise external vendors during major plant outages and overhauls.
Record Keeping: Maintain logs of plant performance, emission data, maintenance histories, and safety incidents. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Required skills
Equipment Maintenance & Operation: Practical expertise in handling, routine maintenance, and fault finding for heavy industrial assets (such as industrial motors, HT/LT panels, transformers, pumps, or material handling systems). Blueprint & Drawing Reading: Ability to interpret single-line diagrams (SLDs), mechanical assembly drawings, and process flow sheets.Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Quick problem-solving aptitude to minimize equipment downtime and handle mechanical jams or electrical tripping seamlessly
