SHIFT INCHARGE FOR FERRO

Supervise and manage shift-wise production activities in the Ferro Alloys Plant. Monitor submerged arc furnace (SAF) operations and ensure smooth furnace performance. Control furnace operating parameters, including temperature, voltage, current and power consumption. Ensure proper raw material charging, melting and alloy production. Achieve shift-wise production targets while maintaining product quality. Allocate duties to furnace operators, supervisors, helpers and other shift staff. Coordinate with the control room, electrical and mechanical maintenance teams. Identify operational abnormalities and take corrective action to minimize downtime. Maintain shift production reports, furnace logs, manpower records and consumption data. Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, SOPs and PPE requirements. Conduct shift handover and communicate production or maintenance issues to the incoming team.
