Communication Hub:
Serve as the central point of contact, relaying messages and instructions between various parties, such as drivers, emergency personnel, and customers.
Call Handling:
Receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls, gathering details and information relevant to the situation.
Logistics and Coordination:
Develop and assign routes, monitor drivers or field units, and coordinate services or deliveries to ensure they run on schedule.
Problem-Solving:
Address unexpected issues, such as route changes or traffic incidents, and work to find effective solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all calls, dispatches, and activities, ensuring all information is logged in computer systems or logs.
Equipment Management:
Monitor and manage communication equipment, including radios and telephones, to ensure they are functional.
