About this role
Inventory Management: Monitor, track, and record inventory levels, performing regular audits to prevent shortages.
Receiving & Issuing: Receive, unload, inspect for damage, and shelve incoming stock, ensuring proper documentation (e.g., Material Received Report).
Storage & Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, utilizing methods like First-In-First-Out (FIFO).
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of incoming/outgoing goods, update inventory management software, and generate daily/monthly reports.
Procurement Support: Coordinate with procurement teams to order new supplies and manage inventory replenishment.
Required skills
1. Core Inventory & Warehouse Management Skills Material Receipts & Issue: Comprehensive handling of incoming industrial spares, heavy machinery parts, conveyor belts, lubricants, electrical panels, and consumables against purchase orders (POs). Bin & Rack Management: Systematic classification, labeling, and physical storage of goods using standardized warehouse management techniques (FIFO/LIFO methods) to ensure zero stock damage or confusion. Physical Stock Verification: Conducting regular cycle counts, monthly physical stock audits, and reconciling physical inventory balances with ERP system records.
