About this role
1. Corporate Licensing & Government Liaison
Act as the primary corporate representative interfacing with local and national government ministries, regulatory boards, and investment authorities (e.g., environmental, industrial standards, and factory inspection departments).
Spearhead the acquisition, renewal, and maintenance of all heavy industrial operating licenses, factory setup permits, and statutory clearances.
Monitor changes in national industrial and trade policies to ensure immediate alignment and risk mitigation for the company.
2. Industrial Relations (IR) & Labor Law Compliance
Oversee comprehensive compliance with the national Employment Act, Factories Act, and related labor regulations.
Manage union negotiations, collective bargaining agreements, worker grievances, and plant-level dispute resolutions proactively to maintain a harmonious work culture.
Ensure airtight maintenance of statutory registers, wage structures, and safety standards across all manufacturing units.
3. Human Resources Strategy & Talent Operations
Design and execute end-to-end HR strategies aligned with overall business goals—from plant-level staffing to senior management recruitment.
Oversee large-scale workforce administration, encompassing both permanent on-roll employees and contract labor portfolios.
Direct performance management systems, talent retention frameworks, and structured safety/skill training programs for factory workers.
4. General Administration & Facility Management
Direct day-to-day administrative operations, plant security protocols, corporate logistics, and asset management.
Oversee vendor management, service contracts, and facility maintenance budgets.
Implement ISO governance frameworks (such as ISO 9001/14001/45001) across administrative and operational workflows.

Commercial Awareness: Deep understanding of the specific industry, market competition, revenue streams, and local/global economic factors affecting the business. Financial Management: Proficiency in reading P&L statements, handling budgeting, resource allocation, and optimizing operational costs. 2. Leadership & People ManagementTeam Leadership & Coaching: Inspiring staff, building a cohesive culture, and actively mentoring department heads and employees to foster professional growth. Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Empathy, self-awareness, and the ability to manage workplace stress, resolve conflicts, and maintain high employee morale.Delegation & Oversight: Knowing how to distribute responsibilities effectively while keeping teams accountable for results. 3. Operational & Execution SkillsDecision-Making & Problem-Solving: Making swift, calculated decisions under pressure when operational hurdles or crises arise. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Acting as a central bridge between various departments (e.g., finance, HR, sales, operations) to ensure smooth workflow. Change Management: Guiding the organization smoothly through transitions, new technology adoptions, or restructuring.4. Communication & External RelationsStakeholder Communication: Clear, persuasive communication with board members, investors, employees, and external partners. Negotiation: Strong external negotiation skills for vendor contracts, client partnerships, and high-stakes business deals.
