About this role
Handle Railway tenders from enquiry to submission and finalization.
Search and monitor Indian Railways / Railway PSU / Government tender opportunities.
Study NIT, tender documents, BOQ, specifications and eligibility criteria.
Prepare technical and commercial tender documents.
Coordinate with technical, estimation, finance and management teams.
Prepare BOQ, rate analysis, costing and quotations.
Handle EMD, tender fees, BG and required documentation.
Prepare and submit online tenders/e-tenders within deadlines.
Maintain records of submitted tenders, corrigendums and tender status.
Assist in contract documentation, work orders and related railway works.
Coordinate with railway authorities, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
Track tender results, negotiations, LOA/LOI and contract requirements.
Required skills
IREPS Portal & GeM Mastery: Deep familiarity with the Indian Railways E-Procurement System (IREPS), e-tendering workflows, digital signatures (DSC), and the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). Bid Evaluation & Tender Scrutiny: Ability to thoroughly read, parse, and analyze voluminous tender documents, General Conditions of Contract (GCC), Special Conditions of Contract (SCC), and instruction to bidders (ITB). Eligibility & Qualification Criteria: Expertise in analyzing financial criteria (average annual turnover, solvency certificates), technical criteria (past performance credentials, similar work experience), and joint venture/consortium clauses.
