About this role
Should be 5-10 years work experience in field of raw material handling,storing,stock inventory,must be computer skill with record keeping in computer in automobile/Engineering Industry.
Incharge of raw and packing material receipt and checking of materials as per purchase order (PO).
Preparation of GRN.
Cross Verification of material with invoice/Delivery Challan (DC).
Supervision of material arrangements.
Miscellaneous material receiving and issued to concerned department.
After approval GRN and invoice submit to accounts department.
Cenvat copy submits to distribution.
Required skills
Material Handling Systems (MHS): Hands-on operational and maintenance knowledge of heavy industrial conveying systems, bucket elevators, vibrating screens, crushers, stackers, reclaimers, and bunker/hopper management. Yard & Inventory Management: Ability to manage raw material stockyards, monitor stockpile volumes, oversee rake/truck unloading operations, and maintain accurate inventory logs to prevent production starvation. Utility Systems Operation: Working knowledge of plant utilities, including Raw Water/DM Water treatment plants, Cooling Water circuits, Air Compressors, Fuel/Coal handling yards, and Effluent/Sewage Treatment Plants (ETP/STP). Sampling & Quality Control: Basic understanding of raw material quality parameters (moisture content, sizing/granulometry, ash content in coal, purity in limestone/quartz) and coordination with quality control labs.
