A Foreign Logistics Executive manages the cross-border movement of goods, international shipping compliance, and global supply chain operations. Job Title Foreign Logistics Executive / International Logistics Executive Job Purpose To oversee import and export processes, coordinate with international freight carriers and customs authorities, and ensure that cross-border shipments are delivered accurately, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with global trade laws. Key Responsibilities International Shipment Coordination: Plan and manage import and export shipments via air, sea, or land freight. Customs & Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and verify import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations. Carrier & Vendor Management: Liaise with international freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and port authorities to negotiate rates and resolve transit delays Order Tracking & Communication: Monitor shipment milestones in real-time, update internal teams and clients, and manage exceptions or port congestions. Cost & Budget Control: Analyze freight costs, review vendor invoices, and implement strategies to reduce international shipping expenses. Documentation & Archiving: Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all cross-border transactions for audit and compliance checks.
